University College London's Carbon Capture Legal Programme, in conjunction with New York University's School of Law and the Global CCS Institute, is organizing a Global Legal Symposium on CCS, which will examine the emerging legal regimes for CCS in various jurisdictions and focus in particular on the regulatory methods being developed in the United States, Australia and Europe. This Symposium will also provide an opportunity to discuss the forthcoming International Energy Agency Model CCS Legal & Regulatory Framework.
The "Carbon Capture & Storage Global Legal Symposium", scheduled for March 15-16 at New York University, will feature Holland & Hart attorney Lawrence Wolfe, who will be speaking on a panel entitled "CO2 Transportation for Storage - Regulatory Perspectives". Abstracts of the presentations will be available prior to the conference from the CCLP website.
